Day 01: Arrival in Mauritius

Arrive at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, Mauritius. You will be received by our on-ground travel coordinator and transferred to your resort. Check in at Anelia Resort & Spa. This thoughtfully designed 4-star resort brings alive traditional Mauritian architecture and beautifully depicts different phases of the island’s development. Post breakfast, you have the day at leisure to explore the resort or simply relax by the sea. Dinner and overnight stay at Anelia Resort and Spa.

Day 02: Explore Mauritius

We kick start the day with a hearty breakfast. Today, we explore the northern part of Mauritius.  We begin the tour by understanding the intriguing history of Mauritius. Our first stop is the Citadel Fort perched atop the Petite Montague hill. Built by the British in the 19th century, this fort offers a stunning view of the capital city of Port Louis and the sea. We then head to the Le Caudan Waterfront, the commercial epicentre of the city. The waterfront is lined with commercial offices, cafes and shopping centres. It is the perfect place to relax, sip on some coffee and gaze at the gleaming blue sea. We end the day by going on a shopping spree at Bagatelle, Mauritius’ very own mall that is home to several international and local brands. Dinner and overnight stay at Anelia Resort and Spa.

Day 03: Explore Mauritius

Today, post a scrumptious breakfast we explore the other end of Mauritius. The South tour starts with a visit to the fascinating Ship Model factory that is home to several hand-made ship models. Here, you get a glimpse of how these intricately designed ships are made right from start to the end. We then proceed to the Diamond Factory shop. Here we learn all about the process of diamond making in a little museum above the shop. You can also shop for beautifully designed jewelry and watches here. Next on the list is the Trou aux Cerfs volcanic crater. This volcanic crater is the birthplace of Mauritius. At this spot, millions of years ago, a volcanic eruption led to the formation of Mauritius and its neighboring Rodrigues Island. We then head to the Grand Bassin also known as the Ganga Talao, a sacred place for Hindus. It may come as a surprise to many, but most of the Mauritian people follow Hinduism and are descendants of Hindu soldiers and slaves who were brought to Mauritius by the colonizers. We end the tour with a visit to a place that is nothing short of a geological marvel, the valley of colours. The land in this region naturally has 23 colours and is a remarkable sight. In this park, you can also explore spectacular waterfalls and wildlife. Dinner and overnight stay at Anelia Resort and Spa

Day 04: Explore Ile aux Cerf

Today is beach day! Post breakfast, we head to Ile aux Cerfs, a privately owned island near the Mauritian coast. Here, you can spend the day by simply relaxing by the sea, taking a swim in the clear blue waters or enjoying various adventure activities on the island. Post your return from Ile aux Cerfs, check out from Anelia Resort and depart for the airport to catch your flight back home.
