Preserved 9th-century Viking ships are displayed at Oslo’s Viking Ship Museum. Bergen, with colorful wooden houses, is the starting point for cruises to the dramatic Sognefjord. Norway is also known for fishing, hiking and skiing, notably at Lillehammer’s Olympic resort.
Sweden is a Scandinavian nation with thousands of coastal islands and inland lakes, along with vast boreal forests and glaciated mountains. Its principal cities, eastern capital Stockholm and southwestern Gothenburg and Malmö, are all coastal. Stockholm is built on 14 islands. It has more than 50 bridges, as well as the medieval old town, Gamla Stan, royal palaces and museums such as open-air Skansen.

Day 1: Arrival

Arrive in Stockholm and make your own way to your hotel, Hotel Kungstradgarden. You will have the remainder of the day at leisure to explore the surroundings or just relax. Stay: Hotel Kungstragarden

Day 2: From Stockholm to Swedish Lapland

Today you will make your way back to the airport for your flight to Swedish Lapland. On arrival in Kiruna, you will be transferred to the world-famous ICEHOTEL, where you will spend the night in an incredible individually-designed art suite. Stay: ICEHOTEL

Day 3: Admiring Northern Lights

After breakfast, enjoy a reindeer sledding ride at a nearby Sami centre. Then, you will take your private transfer to the wilderness area of Bjorkliden and Abisko. Once you arrived at the mountain resort of Bjorkliden, you will enjoy the evening at leisure. Indulge in a 2 course dinner and look out for the Northern Lights. Stay: Bjorkliden

Day 4: Dogsledding Tour

Start off your day with a dogsled tour either in the mountains or on the frozen lake. In the evening, head to the world-famous Aurora Sky Station to enjoy an exclusive 4 course supper followed by the search for the lights from the viewing platforms. Stay: Bjorkliden

Day 5: Lapland photography tour

Once you’ve enjoyed a hearty breakfast, hop onto a snowmobile and take in the Winter Wonderland landscape that unfolds. In the evening, head to the Abisko National Park to enjoy a Northern Lights photography tour. Professionals will give you tricks of the trade for you to master photographing the Northern Lights. Day 6: From Bjorkliden to Narvik

Today you will be transferred to the train station and enjoy a beautiful journey on the Ofoten Line and Arctic Circle train, one of the most northern railway journeys in the world. The 1.5 hour journey starts with spectacular mountain scenery and then opens up to the shores of the Ofotfjord. Once you arrived in Narvik, make your way to your next hotel, Scandic Narvik. This newly-built hotel has spectacular views and boasts an incredible bar and restaurant on the 16th floor. Stay: Scandic Narvik

Day 7: Exploring Narvik

Enjoy a trip to the wilderness surrounding Narvik to a meet a traditional Sami reindeer herding family to learn about their culture and continue your hunt for the Northern Lights. Stay: Scandic Narvik

Day 8: Visiting Polar Park

An exciting day awaits as you head to the world’s most northerly animal park, Polar Park, to meet a variety of local wildlife including lynx, bear, Arctic fox, elk, reindeer and wolves. If you are feeling brave enough you will enter the wolf enclosure and enjoy a close up meeting in the form of a ‘wolf kiss’. In the evening enjoy one final Northern Lights trip at the Lodge tour at Narvikfjellet. Stay: Scandic Narvik

Day 9: From Narvik to Oslo

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Evenes airport for your flight to Oslo. Once you arrived in the capital of Norway, make your way to your central 5 star hotel, The Thief. You will have the remainder of the day at leisure to explore the surroundings or just relax. Stay: The Thief

Day 10: Departure

Today, you will depart Oslo and be transferred to the airport to catch your return flight home.
